Programs: MPA in Health Policy and Management, Advanced Professional Certificate in Health Services Administration
The New York University (a private university in the public service) Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service offers a masters degree concentration in Health Policy and Management within which it is possible to focus on long-term care administration. The MPA requires two full years of graduate study and students take a cluster of advanced courses related to the administration of long-term care services in their second year of study. The Advanced Professional Certificate Program is designed such that students have the option of customizing a cluster of courses (usually five) in the area of health services management, long-term care administration, health policy analysis and health financial management.
