Programs: CERTIFICATE , BACHELOR'S
The Distance Education (formerly called External Degree) programs at Saint Joseph's college are designed to provide educational opportunities for both traditional and nontraditional students. They are offered through faculty-directed independent study, both in paper based format and in online web based format, allowing students to study at home while maintaining full-time employment. The degree programs require one on-campus residency session lasting three weeks. A baccalaureate degree major and a non degree certificate program are offered in long-term care administration.

BS in Health Care Administration/Long-Term Care Administration
This major requires a combination of General Education courses, Core Curriculum courses within the Major, and Electives totaling 128 credits.

Long-Term Care Certificate Program
This is a six course/eighteen credit program for students who wish to acquire specific knowledge about long-term care administration. It has been accepted as a specialized course of study by many state licensing boards.
