Teaching: Thirty-two years experience teaching health management at the undergraduate and graduate levels in the Department of Health Policy and Administration, School of Public Health, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Training Nursing Home and Assisted Living Administrators Developed and teaches Administrator-in-Training (AIT) course for the North Carolina State Board of Examiners for Nursing Home Administrators (required of all AIT's in North Carolina since 1985). Developed and currently teaches Long Term Care Administration courses at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Teaches NHA licensure course for 3 states. One of 3 providers of assisted living certification in NC and Texas.
